ok so I impulse bought some aura bass shaker pro's (guy had 4 for 110 bucks shipped, brand new I couldn't resist)

anyhoo, I'm not really sure on the proper application if these things, so how do I mount em just screw en to the bare steel floor under the front seats or do I mount em to the seat frame somehow

and can I run em off a full range signal, like say the rear spkr outputs of my head unit (since I don't have rear spkrs) or does it have to be a lopassed signal

any input on the proper use of these things would be great

figure I'm gonna use 2 in the car and 2 in the truck

WAY more effective if mounted to the seat itself.

Try attaching a wood or metal plate to the seat frame and attach the shaker to it.

About 10 years ago I had about 10 of them that I bought from princess auto for about $12.00 each. I had them all hooked up to a home theatre amp, and I mounted them on my walls. Shook the crap out of my room. Until my amp started making a 'kicker smell' and stopped working. All of these years later, I realize it might have something to do with the .5 ohm load I was trying to push on the amp...lol. But in a vehicle mounted on a seat, they should be killer. They don't actually sound loud, but they sure feel loud.

I just put a pair in my truck a few months ago. Screwed them each to a piece of 1/2" MDF which then screwed to the front and rear edges of my seat frame. Cross them over as you would a subwoofer.

Damn... I've been looking for these for a long time..

I would like to use them in the WRX to save the weight..

Drew still have some?

everytime i've used the alpine shakers they've worked great. Its kinda a wierd sensation when used without subs in the car(bass without bass).Theres no actual output from these lil motors, I recomend using a small sub with these for some acoustic reinforcement. Personaly id like to screw a set to a helmet in an SPL car and "go fer a rip"

thanks for the tips , I'm deff using subs( I got 2 8's ported in the truck, car is undecided as of yet, but leaning towards IB 15's) I plan to use these to "enhance" the sub bass
