A Friend of mine was looking to buy a new system and another friend of mine was looking to downgrade his system (he wouldnt call it that) so i the word and hooked my buddies up. My friend sold 2 12" Alpine types-S' and a Alpine MRV-1505 for 400 DOLLARS!!!...That amps worth double that. Tell me that wasnt a good deal on the recieving end.

your joking rite? He was told be 2 different Alpine retailers that he could get probably 6-700$ for that amp.

I saw a mint but used 1505 in the original box go for $500 6 months ago. I picked up 2 10" used Type S subs last month for $150. So for sure that was a good deal for $400.

We sold those amps for 599 brand new on clearance when they were current. That was a few years back...

400 for the subs and amp is a decent deal ,, but wouldnt call it a steal.

Oh ya BTW.. my buddy was telling me the other day that he got 2 of those 12's in the ported alpine box in new condition for $40.

Now that is a damn steal...
