Is there any need for fancy battery terminal's or is it just for show? I can get a regular one for $5 or a brass/gold/platinum etc. for $25

cheap ones are lead, and they are soft so they fit the terminal perfectly. fancy ones are harder metal and may not make a perfect connection, while a cheap lead one will always do if it's on properly and clean

silly defro13, didn't you learn anything in SPL 101? The uglier it is the better it works, of course this only applies to SPL [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

A new pissing contest....I'll throw my .02 in. Does current travel better through lead, brass or copper? And do you think that gold or platinum or chrome plating make a better conductor?
