East TFONE or DC Audio LVL 5?

so i Blew up my 12" TFONE at the last show of last season and going to be rebuilding it this spring, and im not sure which one i should run with.....

i have 2 options i can go with. either get a recone kit from audio que for the TFONE basket for $155, or i can get a DC Audio LVL 5 recone kit with a basket (which i have been told will fit the TFONE motor) for $200. i can get both pretty quick and have someone to rebuild it for me.

I need some advice as to which one i should go with.

It's a guy right here in Nova scotia that I compete against that I would be getting it from. I imagine if I were to order one from A supplier some where else in Canada with shipping it would end up costing me the same

Get an american bass hd recone. It will drop right into your motor and basket. AQ's quality has gone down hill, big time.

Well they changed the style of their recone and now use really cheap parts. Me and DJ both had problems breaking them at the triple joint. I order another set with beefed up glue joints and still the same thing happened. Then I switched to the AB HD recone and havent had any problems. DJ also used the HD recone and hasn't broken them yet. The AQ recones loosen up a lot quicker also. This is just my experience.

Ok well then AQ is out of the question for sure.
So then I'm looking for a single 12" re cone kit to fit my old TFONE. This will be used in a db drag set up street class A. I don't care about music quality as this will be a burp car only
