I heard from a reliable source (cant say) that rockford WONT be at CES next year. instead there paying for all there dealers to be shipped (no cost) somewere.. i cant say the persons name but he writes for major magazines

It is public knowledge that Rockford will not have a booth at CES 2008. They will instead bring their qualifying dealers to Arizona for a number of days of appreciation.

Rockford will still have a dealer party at CES 2008.

O.k. next question, why? The biggest car audio show on the plannet and there not supporting it. And what happend to there demo car program

Probably because mobile (car) audio has been on a steady decline the past few years and the show and demo car programs cost money... They would rather spend the money on the dealers that support them and hope to keep up their sales would be my guess.
