"THOSE" threads..............

Some days it really blows chunks to be "in" the industry because one has to be careful about what one posts etc, etc, on a public forum. There's been a few threads posted that I'm struggling to restrain myself from flying off the handle and posting some solid crap on.
Is anyone else here getting that itch to sometimes just loose it !??!??
When I get this way, I just look at my bunny with a pancake on it's head and .............. can't stop myself from laughing. Then I feel better and move along.

As do I. I just went off on a guy for speeding in the Western Canada forum. I have zero patience for idiots like this and I sure hope I get posted to a place that has lots of idiots like him, I will give out ticket after ticket. I am not there to be his friend. People just do not get the drift.

There are ways of getting your not-so-subtle points across without turning into a keyboard commando. It's not hard to outsmart some of the idiots out there. Profanity and slang is a no-no, but using big words and running sentences is a good way to confuse them, so they may not feel offended at the time, but little do they know the "silent ownage" has taken it's iron grip. That way you still look like a "professional" representitive of your company, not some hot-headed teenager with a bad attitude and a potty mouth.
Looking back on my "Fighting the Down Time" thread, I pretty much took the plunge when I announced that I was a FS installer. That made it that much easier for people to criticize me, and that much harder for me to defend myself. That, and the fact that I failed to mention I was a novice at working with fibreglass pretty much signed me up for a flame-fest. I probably could've conducted myself a little better on the 1st page, but yeah, it's hard to bite your tongue sometimes when you feel cornered.

About the FS thing - most of the members who are around here a lot know not to make snap judgement about FS guys

What about the super-idiots........... there have been some truly baffling people that have come through making some wild statements. For EXAMPLE ..... some fakin' queer that goes by the code name DUKK and his ludicrous claims about ported boxes. The insanity of it all..... the only good port is the crap you can gargle with. I mean sheesh
