I just have some general questions about it

1. Is it any good?
2. Do you buy everything together (subs and amp)? or do you have to buy the amp seperatly?
3. How much would it be for a 1998 Dodge Ram extended cab?

They sound just fine. They are available in a variety of colours and come either with an amplifier or without. The all in one setup of subs / amp / box have performed above expectations thus far. They are not designed to blast you right out of the cab, just fill in the bottom end with more than enough bass for the average person.

would it be better to get it with the amp? or would it be better to buy a better amp to power the subs? Can you also give me a ball park price? with and without the amp.
