Smile Toyota Premium System Help.

I have a 2001 Toyota highlander and I want to put a new deck in it. It has the Premium JBL system and I think I need a module. The stock head unit has the 20 pin connector. I can't seem to find a module for the 2001 and the closest I can find is 2003/2004. Would the 2003/2004 module work and allow me install a new head unit while preserving the premium amp?

This is what I have been looking at http://www.scosche.com/products/sfID1/151/sfID2/159/productID/1447

Metra Electronics - Fit Guide

Plug in your vehicle there and it gives you these options: 70-8113 amp integration harness 4 new stereo;

or 70-8116 Amplifier bypass 4 new stereo;

Hope this helps. You could also look at bypassing the factory amps/speakers, and rewiring it yourself, if you did not want to run any of the JBL gear.
