Also is it worth getting some Dynomat for the doors?.... Is there any other alternative or cheaper way to deaded the doors and what not....?
Putting this much time and effort into it and not deadening the doors would be criminal....

The KWs were both ported......a single 10" on 500W or so got very loud in a reg cab F-150.....

Well I think i will most likly end up doing the ID's and deading the doors ( would i do the whole door or just the area around the speaker.... and then I really havent decided do you think the kenwood is that uch louder than a ROCKford Fosgate... do they use the same style box...?

I really think i may got the sealed 12 rout at first due to the fact that i can't figure out how to get the ported box right for the 12 On the re site it seems as if i dont have enough room... i'd like to stay the size of the prefab rockford box... maybe a little wider... i think its like 2at the top and 5 or so at the bottom and like 13inchs tall....i cant remember how wide....I just cant figure out how to meet the specs with that kind of dimensions...

I would suggest applying deadener to the whole door.

The holes in the door skin have to be sealed up to separate the front and back of the speaker......covering the whole thing with one layer is enough for now, there are purists who like to do 4 or 5 layers but the debate on whether it's worth it is ongoing.....

If you put either driver in the same size sealed box in your truck with the same power you will be hard pressed to hear much of a difference in volume. It is more important to set up the Xover and gain correctly to get the best sound possible......
