Is This True?

"One of the subs have a very minor crack in the dust collector, Don't affect the sub at all. It is repairable if wanted to be, no need to do though"

Is that really true? a crack in the dust collector doesn't affect the sub?
It's on a Rockford Fosgate P2 10" sub.

Also, He is selling two p2 10" fosgates in a dual box for $250 is that a good deal even with the crack in the dust collector?

Well with a crack in the dust cap, I assume dust collector would become the proper terminology
