Type-X and db?

with your box id think you would get in the 140s on this sensor.
also keep in mind though the sensor being used tomorrow (ac190) is typically around 1.5db higher than the termlab which is much more widely used around the world.
you should be up against my gf's car

a 137 is a nice start, was the speaker location in your car optimum? Sounds like your power is lacking a bit.. you may get to the 140's but really it is a fine sounding speaker and 137 IS darn loud, and they are only 10" drivers. I bet you were fairly close to a trophy position too. The type X is not an end all SPL monster but it does well (I have seen a pair of 15" type R do mid to upper 140's)

True, the 1005 will not run at 1 ohm, it will protect every time, and they do not make too much power at 4 ohm, at 2 ohm they will do an easy 1100 watts.
Your set-up has easy 140-143 in it with a different amp, maybe more with some box work and set-up work.
Send me a quick email with some pics of your set-up, I am sure I could help you get your score up for the next show.
