Type X or Kicker L7

thinking of either getting 2 10" alpine type x or 1 12" type x or last alternative kicker L7... what the best deal? the two 12 are the same price selling by local ppl 400$... the 2 10" dont know the price yet... right know i have the Alpine MRD-M1001 amp (1000rms) it should be able to power the kicker or the 12" type x ...right? is it really underpowering 2 10" type X?... i also have the option of byung the bpx2200 amp if needed more power for 850$...
would like your imput, reviews on sub and what to do!

thx in advance!

p.s the kicker is in a vented costum box the 12" i dunno and the 2 10" would be going into my futur ship box (vented..bassworks or whatever its call i know i got it wrong bass is in it anyways)...later down the road i would be getting a costum box for these

Those Type X eat about 1000w rms each, so you would need another amp or a bigger amp if you wanted to push 2 10" Type X's. It would still pound, but you would not be getting the full potential of both of them. That amp would push 1 12" Type X nicely. I own a type R and love it, the Type X sound amazing too, but they have to be properly powered.

what is your goal, spl or sq, the type x is designed to be very musically accurate first and foremost, however , the kicker is made to rattle your back teeth, so that may influence your decision

My friend is currently running a single 10" type x with a m1005 I sold him, sounds good and is loud in the to Alpine spec slotted box.

Now, I've ran a 12" type x off the same amp and still the same results just a bit more rattle going on as theres more cone surface.

I've also ran a 15" L7 with my M1001 and it was LOUD. I also had it in a 6cube net box tho. It wasn't as clean and precise as the type x, but it was definitly a LOT louder and like Mikeone said, rattled your back teeth.

yeah i like more SQ... u can cranked it up anyways to make everything shake so i think type x would be the best for me... would the jbl amp i mention up there be good for 2 type x? (10") and am i looking in upgrading other things in car to manage to support all of this like batterie wiring ? (i have 4 gauge right know) or anything else?!?

anyways thanks for the help guy!
