ultimate t3-1000d's....crazy amps eh?
 

been using mine for about 8 months now ....with no issues(have 2 in use) was talking with a buddy of mine in edmonton the other day ....he said he has gone through 3 amps....one after another....he hates 'em now..lol..
anyway was wondering what the deal was with em? is it that peeps are running these power hungry amps poorly and starving them out/running them too hot/ loading them down too much???
i know they are crazy power machines if used properly....trust me...i know!!

just want some general feedback from people that have used them/currently using them & what they are running them on...if possible...mostly because there seems to be little feedback on the net for setups with this particular amp. any feedback, in any form is greatly needed for piece of mind...i guess.........
as a side note, i also have a t3-4075.... ran that amp to kicker ks65.2's and ks 6.2 components....it tried to eat them for lunch too, must also be underrated too like the t3-1000d's(the started to "smell a little funny" after the break in period....when i cranked my system up on a sunday drive)...no worries no damage came of it....was just wondering (also) if anyone can also comment on these amps too?

on a side note/ looking back....do new speekers generally have a certain amount of heat smell to them when powered up ...even close/beond their rms power....u think id know this but.....i dont like to bag on the stuff i buy...thats why i never have cooked anything (by chance) yet. by this question i mean new stuff....does it generally emit a certain amount of coil odour when jucied for the first time?????? been meaning to ask this to someone who knoes........so???
