Upgrading my car's electrical
 

I'm trying to figure out how much it will cost me if I get a new set of subs and a amp.
This is what I'm looking at getting..

PIONEER PREMIER TS-W3001D2
HIFONICS BXI2006D
TSUNAMI PP1010DM-CAP (needed?)
ALPINE CDA-9885
STREETWIRES PS00BX 1/0 GAUGE AMPLIFIER AMP KIT(good brand? idk)
I think thats everything.. It'll be a while yet before I get it.
But what I'm wondering is what would I have to do to my car, 2000 Pontiac Sunfire 2.2L 2200SFI, so that the charging system can handle this big of a system. I will also do the big 3 I guess, if I can ever get to the store to get some wire for it.
Would I need a high output alternator?

u should be fine... i ran 2,000 watts rms and didn't need a new alternator or cap... just get a deep cycle battery... optima yellow top is wat i got worked great

Yes, but isn't your car a V6? Alt may be different. I wonder if I ran two stock ones, would that help?:dunno:

i have a 105 amp alternator stock

So cap isn't worth the money? I got one now..I dunno if there is any difference, I can see it workin, but I never ran my system without it..

u have the same alternator as my car... so its ur call reall what u wanna do u got the cap so run it

in my focus i run two 3000w amp daily and never need a cap or bigger alt, caps are a waste of money

i'm gonna buy one just to see if it makes any sort of difference

trust me dont waste your money ask yuli about caps

buy all the caps you can afford, thats actually where all the bass comes from. just ask Mike about caps.
