Yesterday I bought a US Amp USA 800 and have never used that line of Amp before and is lookin for a few install tips. Am I to upgrade my electrical system, fuses and alternator? I plan on using two optima yellow tops and a 300 farad rf cap do I also need a battery isolator? I already have the 0 guage power, ground, distro blocks and fuse, what else do I need to complete my install?

 

I went looking for that model, and could only find one that is 200 watts by 2. Is that you model, if not what is the specific model number on your amp?

If you only have the one amp, 0 guage might even be overkill, but it sounds like you've got your bases covered.

400 wrms x 2 @ 4ohms

800 wrms x 2 @ 2 ohms

1600 wrms x 2 @ 1 ohm

1600 wrms x 1 @ 4 ohms

3200 wrms x 1 @ 2 ohms
