I saw this US Amps ad on ebay U.S. Amps® XT-4000D ???

I was thinking will this outperform the Hifonics BXI2008D amp or no ?

And are US AMps any good ?

 

Also , I keep asking about Soundstream Tarantula Amps and still nobody tells me if there any good . Does the TRX 2000D really put out 2000 RMS @ 1 ohm ?

 

Seriously... just BUY SOMETHING... you can sit here for years asking if one brand is better than another.

All of the amps you've listed are "pretty good"... and will do what you need them to. Your chances of receiving a 'dud' from these lines is probably equal.

Pricing on them per watt is also probably fairly close.

So just pull the trigger and buy one... stop wasting time asking about which one you should get because you're just wasting valuable listening time by debating.

 

That is the dreaded choice market flooded with mid-end gear. It is much easier to make a choice in high-end category, as the choices are slimmer, and gear is excellent without question.

All listed are the same, might as well go for the cheapest.

 

Just tell me if the Tarantula amp does 2000 RMS x 1ohm or around 2000 RMS , its still ok. If this amp is good then ill go with it . And ill use 2 Splx 12" subs with it . Is it good , i need ur honest opinion ?

That amp will put out about 2000 watts at 1 ohm with 14.4 volts as long as you've installed it correctly and have a good signal.

 

you do realize all those amps are made in the same factory in Taiwan, right?

they are all the same. Just different box on the outside.

 

Just spend the money and get something zenon!

 

I wouldnt get NEW us amps. Their old school amps are some of the finest amplifiers ever made. I collect them. I wouldnt touch their new line though...

 

^^^ Same goes for the current Soundstream products. I'd stick with their old gear - solid and reliable.
