Took your advice and booted over to future shop to try it out, and man it was cool. I plugged it in and it started right up, even showed the song names. I've decided i want to purchase the deck, do you think that future shop has the best price and quality if install?

Thanks a bunch

^^^^ You work in the industry, correct? You are also able to read the forum rules about soliciting business. Last I checked, you were not a vendor, your employer was not a vendor, Ebay is not a vendor. Ya might want to consider reading the forum rules if you would like to stay on the site. I am sure that your employer (FS?) would also not take kindly to you recommending to a potential customer to take his business somewhere else.

I am not picking on you persay (as there are far more as well), however, I and other vendors on this site pay for the right to conduct business here. The sheer number of people who masquerade as normal people (who are employed in this industry) on this site is horrific. Read the rules people, it is a rather simple thing to do.

To the original poster, if this cd player works for you, great. Contact Steve (Smartass) here on the site as he is a site authorized vendor and authorized dealer of Clarion and will no doubt be able to give you above average service.

Wow nice attitude, having said that FS sells for full retail unless a sale is on or beating a price. But normally an B&M shop can sell you that unit cheaper on a walk in sale. What I can not understand is why FS does not just sharpen their pencil straight away. Why should a customer have to go all over hells half acre so they get a cheaper price? I could sell it to you cheaper by far but if you need installation I can not help....having said that get an B&M store to install it not FS. Also do not get the FS BS extended warranty as the unit already has a 2 Year not a 1 year stated by Canadian123 which is trying to sell you a product and is not aware of the length of the warranty from manufacturer.

BTW Canadian123 is it to hard to ask to respect the vendors on the site.

Thanks

I'm not worried what FS thinks we are not afraid of other vendors cause we know we can beat their prices and I'm not going to lie if there is a place selling cheaper I'm just going to beat their price.

P.S. if I get banned for saying a non supporting vendors name who gives a if it happens oh well I just wont have to read all the mis-information on here anymore.

Right, make sure you buy the warranty, FS guy makes what, 25 -50% of what it sells for? (commission at work guys).....gotta push that PSP.....

Canadian123, the issue is that someone that is not site authorized is profiting from a potential customer based on your input. You are acting as a agent for your employer. This is a clear violation of the site rules, perhaps you should learn to read again, it seems you are unable to. Your last post shows your true colors. FS or die Mr. Customer. Long live FS

Want to see a real FS employee, someone who is credible and abides by the rules? Look to our Moderator Dukk (Paul), you might have something to learn from him if the Jedi Mind Trick that your employer pulled on you was not too powerful (or maybe it is your weak mind). FS is a storefront and you are a number, one day (probably soon given your attitude), your number will be up and FS will sail on without you. (probably a good thing for them as well - just don't send me a resume, you have no business being in this industry). Have a nice vacation Canadian123, don't let the door hit you too hard on the way out. (actually maybe that would be a great idea). This ends my input on the issue.

For the original poster, sorry to take it off topic as it was. Steve once again will be more than happy to help you with anything that you require.

I dont make anything off the warrenty FYI I'm an Install Manager so nice try there but I do take alot of decks that are out of the warrenty period out to send them away for repair if that makes a difference.

Your honestly telling me with a slide touch, like this deck has nothing can go wrong with it? come on find something better to bust my ***** about then the warrenty coverage we all know if a manufacture covers the unit for 2yrs its not likley to fail in that peroid and only manufacturer defects are covered so if it stops reading the USB due to wear or the slide touch feature sticks its not covered under the warrently but it is covered under the extended plan through FS please stop buy your local FS and grab some PSP brochures so you know what your talking about B4 you start the age old extended warrenty battle.

I'm sorry guys but the members on this site can buy from who ever they want and you cant stop people from saying other companies names either your just sore I told him to go to FS where he can buy the warrenty and have it installed and heaven forbid if something goes wrong with it they will remove it for him and have it repaired instead of him having to do the work and pay postage to mail if off to an internet store for repair.

I dont see you in threads where people are bashing FS telling them to stop talking about the competition it goes both ways if people on this site that are in the industry cant talk about companies that are not vendors here then no one should be able to period.

PS nothing I said in this thread can get me banned

enough of the fighting. he asked for info about a deck, he got it, post closed.

canadian123... you're right, nothing you said here will get you banned. But it won't make you any friends either. Maybe you can try to get along with people to make everyones stay here a bit better rather than going out of your way to **** people off?

btw.. your posts in this thread, while not getting you banned, certainly emphasize what it is that a lot of people don't like about FS... so you really aren't doing yourself any favours.
