peerless is good as well (i've got 3.5" peerless tweets at the moment). i noticed you put some weight into the efficiency of the various speakers and i just thought i'd mention that it is common practice for companies to measure efficiency at 1 khz (something that your midbass and your tweeter would never see, only the midrange) so efficiency ratings are not necessarily something to go by.
