Using an AMP for multi-purpose?

Thanks for the help again guys, the only problem now is that it appears i got the older type s models and it says on the back that they are 30rWms...

Would it still sound ok if they had 40Wrms or 50Wrms going to them?

They should be okay with that as long as you can hear when they are stressed and turn it down. Make sure they are crossed over properly. Mine are high passed at 70hz. My Clarion components are rated for 100wrms and they have been getting 230+ for over a year now with no issues.

hey guys, two final question (for now )

1) For the wiring of both amps, would I need 2 seperate wiring kits? (http://http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/p...552433a973en02)

2) Both AMP's suggest that I use 8 Guage wiring. Someone mentioned to me to get 4 gauge... Is there any difference for my purpose?
