using a line out converter(high level converter) question
anybody here use a line out converter--or high level converter---i wanna use one on my new honda fit---the dash kit is too expensive---or if anybody used one on a new civic(same deck)---i know the quality of the sound wont be as good but will it be half decent??
please some input! |
i use a line out converter in mine, it works, but thats all it does, its a dirty signal which leads to dirty sound, but for the time being its what i use and for just driving around with music its been fine so far.

I used an LOC on my GM factory radio and then active crossovers.
just wasn't up to my expectations. So, when they finally got around to making the interface i needed for my 06, I re did the install with apline 9855. Still got the $40 4 ch LOC sitting in my garage. The name on it is Install Edge, made by Rockford. Besy Buy sells them. |
Find yourself a line level changer controller with inputs for your factory radio. Looks like an FM mod piece but has RCA outputs.
I use an Alpine CHA-S1656 controller and CHA-S604 changer and my factory player for radio duty. Full aftermarket CD sound quality with lower risk of theft cuz the factory radio is still in the dash. ;) |
