Variety of Test Tunes

I've tried searching, but is there a thread where anyone has recommended any particular songs or tunes to test out their system. If not, what's a good out there?

(my wife's particular to Sandstorm-Darude, I'm more a Godsmackian)

Basically play your favourite songs. If it sounds great to you on your system, you are all set! I prefer to test the high notes with White Rabbit - Jefferson Airplane and to test my bass with a drummer of mines recorded bass drums, single, double and triple kicks. Some slipknot drum solo is also good for that. As for the long bass notes I use Aphex Twin and Crystal Method. Works like a charm. Also never hurts to try out just plain old straight frequencies.

Exactly what I was looking for and then some for sub testing... Was also looking for current tunes/songs(basey stuff) some listen to these days. I've been AWOL for a while. I was quite impressed with the Crystal Method stuff recommended by Creamedweasel on top of my standard hardrock/alternative stuff.

Thanks.
