Visonik V4000XD @1 ohm

How much power do you figure this amp will put out @ 1 ohm? (RMS watts) and is it 1 ohm stable? Thanks.

They are suppose to be 2 ohm stable. And roughly 2600-2800Wrms unless your running a 17Volt system. Same as the MA HK4000D

Prolifik 02-24-2007 02:41 AM

at one ohm u'll get something close to 2,000 rms IF the amp is stable enough.

its not, that amp can actualy do about 3200 rms @ 14.4 volts. That amps is not stappable sorry guys. If u change some parts inside, i hear u could get about 6000 rms off it. < its just what i have seen on the net

I just wanted to know if it was stable at 1 ohm daily driven without being modded. Guess not. Thanks.

Well doing calculations is fine to get a where abouts but the amp is over rated to begin with as is there whole line of amps. People have clamped them already and with the wind blowing the right way and hopping on one foot they have seen about 2800W rms at 14.4v running at 2 ohms. Problem is its a power pig and most cant not get the power to it properly.

i have 5 of them and i run them at 1ohm at 14v for daily drive with know problem

Brad-S.A. 02-24-2007 11:34 AM

Well there you have it. Im just going by the manufactures specs on the load capability. Have they been modded?

Prolifik 02-24-2007 12:29 PM

amp is not 1 ohm stable for daily unless u have a very solid electrical and the amp is modded. honestly that amp sucks if you asked me, its too picky and for its physical size it could be more powerful. no way u get 6k rms out of it on a 14v set up, wont even get 3500.
