The main box is VERY snuggly CRAMMED into the back and it is NOT moving anywehre. Also, the front wall is behind the seatbelt bracket and wont fly forward. The back of the box is rammed right up tight where there are some pieces of metal that brace the car.

The removable port is so I can play real music in my car. Its a system, it should be able to play music. The removable port is tuned to 30Hz and the competition port is tuned to 60Hz...for now. Until i can find the optimal tunning for comps.

In the pic of me in the port, I'm actually bolting the sub to the front wall. Not the box to the car.

Thanx for the comments!

Just a tip for sanding down REALLY FAST cause I noticed that you were using planes.

Go to Crappy Tire and get a 4" Sanding wheel with ultra heavy grit paper on it (should be ~$5). I used to use planes like you are using and that took ~1hr to do the box. With drill sanding wheel I can do it in ~10 min and it's much nicer too.

Question, what are you attaching the wall to the car with? Is it snugged right up and friction is holding it? If so, how are you going to secure it in place, just bracket it like crazy?

And another question... the removable port, is that so you can play music through it with the small port, and compete with the port cover removed?
I used two half inch bolts throught the floor, when i had the van just to make sure the wall wasn't goin anywhere the trim panels made it pretty tight aswell
