To wall or not to wall?

Has anyone out there ever tried walling a trunked sedan? Advice?
I am considering walling my 96 Plymouth Breeze. I want to board up the trunk itself completely and leave it as a space to run my amps, batteries, caps, etc. then set up somewhat of a wall behind my front seats and use the rear passenger space for a box. I am completely new to the concept of setting up a wall, so it might be a huge mistake, but i have always wanted to try it and dont own a hatchback.
As it is i have 2 15's, but considering dumping some $$ into another 2 15s to add to it. I was told a wall wouldnt work in a car with a trunk because of the trunk, so thats why i decided i would board it up and block it off completely other than my wiring going in and out of it.
I am thinking of starting this project next week, but would like as much input as possible before i get started.

Oh yeah, one more thing. If i did put a wall in, is the car still able to compete in dB drags? Does it change my class or anything?

you'd be either in Super Street or Street Max depending on how many amps and batts you decide to use. Good luck, been there and done that many many years ago. At the very least it will be a great ground pounder

So far all i have is 2 15s and about 880W rms to run them with. I am putting a second battery in tomorrow evening. It is just a battery from a transport truck, other than that i have no idea what it is. I will know tomorrow when my friend drops it off for me. I got it for free, and got some 0 gauge wire to work with to set it up. I even have a spare alternator layin around that i am considering putting in if i suddenly upgrade my power and have a need for it.
As it is, with 880W rms i cant see the need to upgrade much when it comes to my power. My lights dont even dim at all since i upgraded my wiring under the hood to 4 gauge.

I have a wall in a 4 door focus.

Did you have to board off or seal off the trunk area?

I sealed it from the front.
No need to seal from the back if you seal from the front good.

So with a single amp running 880W rms and a pair of 15's, which class would it put me in? I am just curious if the wall itself effects which class im in. Someone told me if i put a wall in it will change which class i would be in.
