Walls Legal?

I'm considering walling my Daewoo (hatch) but am wondering if there is a law that states you must be able to see out your back window?

I didnt think so, think of cube vans, cargo vans no windows in the back to begin with.

you need two Mirrors L and R sides

mat11236 09-17-2006 05:12 PM

the right side mirror is not obligated

ya man the only mirror you need to be legal is the driver side thats all i think that if the cop wanted to be an ass he would make sure that if you were in an accident the wall wouldnt move forward on you but totally legal man do it.

You will need to check with your local laws as it may not be the same in all Provinces, here in BC MVC states you need 2 mirrors so if you block off the interior one you must have a right and left on the doors. Chances of you finding a cop that actually knows the law and not just make it up is another question.

Thanks for all the input.
A wall is simply a partition that prevents your subs from having to pressurize the hole interior of your car.
Cutting down on the interior space should in theory be easier to get louder.

Also I have both mirriors so a way I go.
