well got my DD 3512 installed...
 
I think the box is good, sounds pretty good. Definatly not as good as I want it :) but getting there. i only have 600rms going to it at the moment so thats really 1/2 power. With more power do you think i'll get some harder hitting higher notes as well? I can tell this thing really takes off at the lower notes but is lacking any definition at the moment.

whats the enclosure tuned to? if its in the low 30's then thats why it pounds ther lower notes

Well thats the thing, i thought I was tuning to 40 but reviewing the specs again I'm at around 2.75-2.8 cuft but my port is 40 sq" 16"depth. It asks for a 44 sq" port for that size of box. Could that tune it that much lower?

p.s.-i don't know how to list pictures in here, you need them on the web?

in order to pound the lows, i would suggest a tuning of around 33-36hz. the specs on DD's webpage aren't bad, its just more of a ordinary slot ported enclosure equation.
