with the equipment in my sig and the sub in a 2.2 cf vented box tuned to 30 i hit a 143.9.I have mixed emotions about my score, was hoping to hit higher.I played sweeps from 40-48hz but i think i should have played lower tones.I would like to thank Jon from Genuine Canadian Audio for all the help and his wife as well.thanks for all the tips and support.I would also like to thank father Yuli for his help and support. It was a great experience and now i want to build a spl box for the next local comp.

30 Hz is way too low for SPL. Depending on the vehicle, 40-50 Hz will be better.

first of all what kind of vehicle?
I noticed you are only playing with 1000 watts. Give the sub 2000-4000 watts and then you will see the high 140's. |
he's got an accord.

thank you father, yes i have a 92 accord coupe. My box is a daily driver box tuned low for sq.I guess thats not a bad score cause i just read a guy with a brahma 15 off a jbl 1200.1 hit a 144.5 on the same new AC mic.I didn't tweak or do anything, i didn't even know what tone to play.I think Father Yuli was corect, i think i should have tried from 35 and up
