the audiobahn a8000T is exactly what you need for those 2 subs. Perfect match.

I would agree that the mono 2ohm stable amp is a nice match but right now you have a fully capable 300Wrms RF amp. And if I had the Infinity subs I would not mate it with an Audiobahn. However I would sell the RF for what ever and take that money and the $200-250 budget and combine it and buy a little better brand mono block with a bit more power. Thats only if you have hooked yours up already and decided that the 300Wrms is not enough.

i think right now i have narrowed it down to the
Phoenix Gold Octane R 8.0:1
its rated at 800W @ 2 ohms
and its a class D amp
is that good for my subs?

It would work on that sub selection!! I just think that this line of pg amps, is over rated!! Not as good as they look. Just my 0.2

what do you mean overrated and not as good?
do you mean they dont actually perform to their spec?
or do you mean by them being overpriced?

for some reason i cant seem to find an accurate spec on the PG amp
on the PG site it says 800W @ 2 ohms MAX power
doesnt tell me what the rms is
then on another site it says 800W rms @ 2 ohms
then on an uk site it says 1000W rms @ 2 ohms

Ya its more like 500-600Wrms roughly. They are fine and yes you want to find a 2 ohm stable monoblock
