What do you think about the Mtx 9500? opinions, experiences etc.

I haven't seen anyone up here fire them forward. I have seen a couple fire them back leaving somewhere around 1.5 ft between subs to back wall.

BTW, im running my 12" at 2 ohm, so its seeing about 1000 rated watts, actually 1,140 actually tested watts.

yeah plus mines in a custom built vented box, im not a fan of the sledehammer boxes, i think they sound like . hopefully more than 145... was the xterra all stock electrical?

I tried firing mine forward in the civic, but it didnt sound nearly as good. Bass waves get stronger the longer they have to travel.

so facing them up towards the window would be the best bet..? so does ur 12 hit pretty hard and loud? i bet people are pretty impressed by it. u have stock electrical?

Yeah, it does sound pretty impressive. Once you get into the 140 db range, it feels like a hell of alot more. I popped the front seal of my windshield, which is pretty cool. I like the sub cause it goes low, real low, and loves doing it.

do your lights dim alot from the 81001... and what gauge wiring you using for the amp?

Yeah, the lights dim pretty good. At night, if im listening loud, i think people think i am flashing them, so I try not to crank it at night. As for the window thing, I have no idea. A CRX is pretty small. Hopefully you dont. Ive seen lots of CRX's with crazy systems, and they hold together well.
