What Double Din dvd/nav to buy?

Hi, this is my first post on this sight. I would like to put a double din dvd player with navigation in my truck. I've been looking at a few brands. Could someone give me some advise on best bang for their buck. Open to all brands, really want to get something good. Thanks for the help.

i had the alpine w205 and blackbird but there is a few issue with the 2 units together
the pioneer d3 looks pretty good but you need the disc for the nav so you would have to take the dvd out.
the eclipse avn5520 is a good one with 2 dvd slots one for the dvd and the other for the nav
in my opinion kenwood has a 5120 i believe wich is pretty decent but the best one in my opinion is the dnx8120 ih has 2 year warranty its hard drive base for the nav eq dsp bluetooth by parrot nav by garmin i have one in my car and its awesome ive been installing for 20 years and its a serious piece of equipment worth every penny
just my 2 cents. i hope this helps

Thanks for the info. I was looking at the alpine 205 and 505. Also, looking at the eclipse units. I really like garmin products so, I took a look at the kenwood 8120. What about an older kenwood 7100.

if u want built in bluetooth, nav, dsp/eq, 5.1dts go with the dnx8120.. i have one and would not give it up for anything. i have a coworker who baught the pioneer z2 but he has all kinds of probs.
there is the dnx7120 but no built in bluetooth, 5.1, dsp/eq not as robust..
when i priced my 8120 it was acually cheaper than the 7120, after all the extras to get what the 8120 already has.

I sell kenwood at work, and I feel if your looking for built in nav, the kenwood dnx 5120 is untouchable for the price and features. The harddrive, garmin based GPS kicks the crap out of most of the other brands in its price point. I wud recomend against pioneer, they go for price point but most, if not all, are flash/cd rom based gps which is slow, and costly to update.

With the kenwood u can go to the garmin website, and LOOK AT UPDATES BEFORE YOU BUY THEM, no other brand allows that. Bang for the buck in terms of quality, the 5120 I feel is untouchable. The dnx8120 is that much better with the larger dsplay, built in bluetooth, 2 yr warranty, etc.

Oh, and I was playign with one at work saturday, the customizeability is really cool. You can change the base colour, the button colour, and even put your own pictures as the background via USB. The kenwoods have my vote for sure, hope I helped
