I remember when I first got heavy into car audio and this website MMATS Juggernauts were THE subs to have...same with the MMATS class D amps....where are they now? Why doesn't anybody use them anymore?
Id still love to find a set of the 15" 1.5 ohm DVC Juggs.....what a killer SQL sub. |
Price?

Yea perhaps....but still...they were a damn fine product and people pay alot of money for good product.
I think it may have to do with advertising....but who knows. |
The Juggs are still around. And are an excellent sub. They may not be common in canada because of dealers. A lot of people do not ship to canada. I am thinking of getting 3 of the 15 or 3 12. instead of the setup i have now. If you cant find them anywhere. i can look up where to get them again. I will post it.

We have a MMATS dealer here in Prince George. I've been seriously contemplating a pair of Juggs to play with.
I hear the subs are nice too. ( o Y o ) |
a little shop in my town just started selling mmats gear. i might look into it a bit.

I've never heard a Jugg that didn't sound great....there supposed to be mainly for SPL but you know what...I heard a 4 Runner(Stereo Dimension's) a few years ago at Darknights that sounded absolutely sweet...2 15's off a pair of D100hc's in a fairly big box and MMATS comps up front...I loved it...I wanted to sit in it all day.
I don't know who still sells them anymore...I really wish I could find an older set of the Jugg 15's on a for sale forum somewhere but I've had no luck. |
i know a dealer in toronto,
City Sound Labs @ Keele & Steeles omg... my buddy picked up a MMATS 500.1 amp and a mini juggernaut..... holy mother of god it sounds freakin amazing. there's sooo much punch... and it gets LOUD. i think it was 500 for the sub including the box a year and a half ago. Leo builds a VERY small ported box that still pounds like a mofo... definitely worth the 500 IMO. [ September 07, 2004, 06:47 AM: Message edited by: bluetroll ] |
