I am at a low price range but want a good deck. i looked at the poinier premier 360 looks nice with a high pass crossover/equalizer built into amp so you can ahve speakers paly mid and high and sub play base..

also saw alpine C9827 which is nice but dont tihnk it has that cross over thing. I also heard that pionier has awsome reception with radio.

looked at a sony CDRX somthing or other for 149 not bad at futureshop. any ideas?

The Alpine is good, but if you want the crossovers with an Alpine you'd have to go with the next model up the CDA-9830.

Pioneer makes nice decks.

I would take either of those two over any Sony deck.

If the Alpine isnt much more I would go for that, otherwise get the Pioneer and dont worry about it.

I would go with either pioneer or alpine. I have had bad experiences with sony and kenwood decks more than once. I like the alpine decks because the aren't as fancy and I find them easier to use, but they are both good brands.

on pionier deck you could change it so speakers in car only play higher end music and onyl th esubs play the base. was pretty cool you could jsut CRANK it on the spaeakers and no distortion sounded perfect can get it from dealership here for 240 + free install + 40 parts + tax. or i can order it from ebay and pay 119 american + 35 american shipping and get PRO audio installer friend to install it for 20 bucks labour 20 parts.

i should go barder with dealership i tihnk.

What year/make and model vehicle is this going into? Is there a deck in the vehicle already?
