What are good shops that sell Pioneer at decent prices
#11
here's an idea... If it's worth having, it's worth paying for, and if it's worth paying for, don't try to dick around with the price, and try to get every penny you can squeeze out of the shop(s) you're dealing with. If the deck costs a grand, andyou don't want to pay that much, try getting one used. If you don't want a used one, then buy a cheaper deck. You'd never go into a restaraunt and say "I'd like the caviar, but $200 is a little steep, so can you just put it on ym bill as breadsticks, so I don't have to pay as much?" The decks you mentioned are WORTH that much money, so why not pay that much? save up a little, you'll appreciate the deck a lot more if you actually pay for the deck.

Has anyone ever heard of an economy?
If we continue to support the US and online buying, jobs will continue to go down and down and more money will be sent to the BORG(us)
Its not just car audio it is everything we do.. the more we dont support local business we worse off we are.

As far as purchasing from a local retailler, be sure and check their policies as well as their price. See about extended service plans and installation.
What can they do for you if something goes wrong?
I won't promote our shop since we don't pay to advertise here but most shops have a guaranteed price beat or match. As long as that price is advertised or confirmed. Usually at most you will save up to an additional 5% on that price.
However if the shop you got your price out helped you out, answered your questions, showed and demonstrated the product and took the time to make sure that the equipment they showed you really fits your needs...........PLEASE OH PLEASE buy it from them and don't go down the street to the shop that will save you $20 by showing them the quote you got from the first store. Remember your also paying for the service that salesperson gave you.
I will take the deal if I am that second shop but I do feel guilty that I am taking away another salespersons hard work because the customer just wanted to save an extra buck or two.
And for those that would say that the first shop should have just given the customer a better price the first time........If F.S. quoted a customer COST and it was advertised or I could confirm it, I am OBLIGATED (due to company policy) to beat that price by up to 5%. Thus taking the price below cost and at that I would make zero commision. I don't work for free and if I asked you to I am pretty sure I would be told to go **** up a rope.
Agree??
