And I did start with eBay and stores. Too get 2 10 subs with 500 watts rms each was $250 each. Plus an amp to go with them was around $400 to meet the wattage. That wasnt including the box or set of cables. Ebay to buy a sub your paying an extra $100 for delivery because of the wait. The sub is about 15 pounds or so. And box is like 10 pounds or so. So eBay or a local store isnt better.

Plus thios stuff is actually from a store lol. Just selling thier stuff at discount to get thier business name out there.

Oh also eBay stores charge an extra $10-$50 for PO Boxes while others wont even do it and thats the only address I have lol.

I dont mind you saying you think the stuff is crap but dont think I just bought this on impulse. I got bassworks 6" speakers and they have awsome quality sound. So the subs should be half decent also.

No point in spending over $1000 on a well known name when I know these names lol.

But like I said I dont care if you htink the stuff is crap but dont think I didnt look around. I been talking to a lot of people on here about stuff and getting prices from Father Yuli and was looking at used stuff from fresh1 and someone else. Also a few other names I cant remember that can vouge I been looking. So ya I dont mind your opinion on quality but its kind of upsetting you think I didnt check out other places.

You didn't look around. eBay.ca, not .com lol
"Looking" takes more than 3 days

Next time find out how much you'll spend and what you'll get, then go to a local shop and tell them flat out. I can guarantee you they will work with you to get your business, unlike this fleemarket dude.

Try it out (your new equipment) and go from there.

P.S. Name brand doesn't mean quality. But low-end isn't great either.

Bassworks isnt really low quality I dont think. One guy here sells amps from it.

Sorry DaVibe I do respect your responce and am not trying to be rude. Just got a little jumpy there.

Well to be honest I wasnt sure how much I could spend. This was just a rlly great deal. I have $330 insurance payments only making 11.50 an hour at work and attending college in jan 2011. So money is tight. Plus ebay.ca was the site I was talking about lol. I bought a lot of stuff off ebay before since I live around 4-5 hours from a good size city. Shopping and looking around isnt really easy for us. 4 hour drive to "look around" isnt the best idea. Because you will guy something completely over priced just because you dont wanna have to go back later.

I dunno anyways what does everyone else think?

I was thinking the same for that amp. But the guy showed me his laptop with two of those amps and a couple of 15's hitting 155 db. He said they are digital amps thats what makes them so small.

But of course the laptop ratings could have been done with a different amp. Just have to wait and see.

Dunno if it matters but the amps has HUGE cooling fins on it. About 3-4 inches deep.

Sorry bud but you put up this thread and you're asking for opinions, just like I wouldn't want someone to lie to me, I'm not going to lie to you. I think you got some questionable equipment that doesn't likely match together, I would have rather hit up a local shop for a conversation first or eBay

LOL how could u not heard of Bassworx, most cookie cutter boxes u buy went from exciter to Bassworx, and bang for the buck IMO they are a decent sub.
They may not the biggest company or as good as DD but 99% of ppl atleast heard of them LOL.

O and from what I seen at many comps acouple years ago, there were many ppl running there amps like 1200.1 as they work decent and are very cheap
