Anyhoo, I'm rather new to the whole car audio scene, so bear with me if i say something that makes no sense whatsoever... Heres what I have so far, and what i still need.
I have a 12" concept sub. I cant find it on concept's site, or anywhere else on the web for that matter, If it helps it was running with another one on a 1200w class D amp @ 1 ohm I believe... My friend guaranteed me it would run perfectly fine on a decent 500w rms amp...and if i blew it He'd replace it with something better:P
I also have 2 focal 6.5" 130ca speakers, and 2 cheapo 100watt 4" pioneer speakers
I still need an amp for the sub, and for the speakers, and a deck. I dont really want to put in any more than around $500 into the rest of the system, and was wondering what some good brands/models to look into would be for a deck and amp(s)...

what are you trying to have at the end i.e a stock look ,a show car ,a lot of custom work ,no custom work ,some custom work ?

I'm not going for a showy custom look. The car itself is pretty plain looking. For now i want it to look stock, because I'm kinda going for the sleeper look, and i want to minimize the risk of it getting broken into [img]smile.gif[/img]
I myself havent done any custom work to the car yet, but the former owner did some stuff to the engine and put in a custom exhaust. Ill get some pics of it when its all set up.

Rum is junk.
$500 is kinda skinny for a deck and an amp. Assuming you want to buy new I would look at a $199 CD player with a sub pre-out and a 4channel amp that you can bridge 2 channels onto the woofer right now and then later buy a dedicated sub amp.
