What should i buy?

hello all,

just browsing the net looking for suggestions on what system to put in my car... found this forum and thought id ask people who know.

i just picked up an acura integra (special edition) and its all stock.. i have a decent pioneer deck that im thinking of putting in, but id like to get some info on whats really good at the moment.

im starting by replacing all the blown stock speakers. suggestions on what i should put in? money is a factor, so the best deal is what im looking for i guess...

thanks for any help!

Head unit you cant beat Nakamichi for cheap looks but state of art sound:) Theres heaps of brands out there to choose depends what your really after in car sound SQ or SPL???

I would look at the Eclipse speakers or perhaps Macrom as well. Speakers are a personal prference. Why I like the Eclipse is simple, they sound good, they are efficient and they do not cost 2 arms and one leg.

Nakamichi and the Clarion "ProAudio" are some pretty stellar sounding speakers.

If you want cheep(priced) get one of the left over 5 channels from smartass. The Ultimate - T2-5450 and find some replacement speakers for your stockers. Use the deck you have. When you have more money, the amp can power a sub.

55x4+170x1@4OHMS
85x4+240x1@2OHMS

A seperate amplifier beats power from a deck every time.
