What size amp to push Pioneer TS-301F 12" Sub?

I am needing to know what size amp I need to push a single 12" Pioneer TS-W301F. I am hooking to factory deck in my 1995 Chevrolet C/K 1500 truck regular cab. Circuit City said a MTX 200Watt but I want it to be somewhat loud with some bass punch. Any advice?

whats the Rms watts of the sub and peak ? and at how many Ohms ? 200 seems sorta low , if you did go with 200 you would definitely want a class D

(class D stands for high duty cycle around 90%-98% i believe, duty cycle means 10% duty cycle = 1 minute out of 10 at full load with out damage )

i see on another forum they recommend this

http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/MTX-Road-Thunder-2-Channel-Amplifier-RT202/sem/rpsm/oid/157635/catOid/-13095/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do

so i am putting it here for others to see

also they say its 150 rms

I had the old 301F's, each with a GM-H200 running bridged, 300 RMS each.

Worked great. Loud but not earth pounding.

When that got stolen, (B__TARDS!), they were replaced with 303F's. Didn't like the 922 amps as much.

Eventually i upped to the GM-5100T amps, one for each sub. 380wrms each.
That was good, but ya gotta be carefull with volume control.
Clipping WILL damage those speakers.

With the newer car and more room, I went for 15" subs because i wanted more bottom end. I stuck with the 5100T's, @ 380wrms each, but thats not loud enough.

It never ends. :)
