I have a 97 SC2, so I know the car pretty well. I know they take 6.5's in the front, and our sail panel's are perfect for mounting tweeters. Your best bet is to not skimp on the components. Get a good pair from Focal, Polk, or another top company. Plan to spend around $200.

As for the back speakers I have mine out now, so no need for rear fill for me. The back speakers just get totally overloaded and distort with a sub in the trunk and just add to SQ degradation IMO.

Im just running 6.5 JBL Coax's at the moment, and without a good EQ or time alignment the soundstage is low in the door. If you dont mind that, I got mine for $50 @ Best Buy and they sound decent - good for the money however. If you want good midbass I would definetly look into getting an external amp for the front channel.

Yeah that stuff isnt a good idea. Shipping and tax/duty would be out of this world.

Not worth it.

For the subs, try to find a local establishment to save on shipping. For a deck, buy this; before the auction ends I got one;
DXZ575USB CLARION CD/USB/IPOD/MP3/WMA/AAC CAR STEREO on eBay.ca (item 370228327861 end time 10-Aug-09 18:06:15 EDT)

For an amplifier, get a seperate class D and a class a/b for the fronts such as;
a Kicker 150.2 for the fronts
and an Alpine Mrp-m350 for the sub(s)

For 6.5's, try to get a component set. You dont get tweeters seperately or youll get cancellation and no proper crossover frequency.

Get these or local;
PHOENIX GOLD 6.5" 240w COMPONENT CAR SPEAKERS RSD65CS on eBay.ca (item 390064845815 end time 03-Aug-09 22:20:04 EDT)
