Hi!
I am looking to power my P3`s but im just not understanding Amp specs. I need something to match my 100-500RMS specs but I don`t really know what that means or how to relate it. Amps are big investments, I want to make the right one! Please help me out!!
And... I am trying to stay budget friendly, but I do not want to waste my money on an amp that will not power them right. You know what I mean!

Okay that narrows it down.. how crazy are you?. Do you appreciate your hearing or are you out to destroy your ears?. Also what kinda box you putting them subs in?

 

And what's your budget

From what I found its 2ohms DVC, and you have two of them. The RMS wattage is 250 per sub..
SO, You need an amp that can putout 500WRMS at 2ohms.
I suggest the Alpine amp that I have. MRP-M500

It wont disappoint! I got my for ~$175 off of ebay.

 

12" P3's will take 450 RMS each. You can get many different amps, something around 800 - 1000 RMS @ 2 ohms. You said 2 ohms, is that the final load? or each sub? I use to run a RF punch 800a2 on 2 12P3's.

 

Keeping with Rockford the 800a2 would work nicely ..... among many others .....
