How crucial is the proximity/microwave sensor for a convertible....specifically with the top UP vs the top DOWN

I also am looking for a similar alarm..

how important....

(obivously, its worth the money to protect the investment of your vehicle)

My car is typically parked at the end of the driveway, I dont want it to chirp every time someone walks by on the sidewalk, basically

If you find one that works worth a damn, they are good.

Been years since I saw one that works well.....
