Go to Quinn security. They have their own alarm system. I've had one in my Mazda for two years, and Im VERY impressed to say the least. there fully customizable, to everything from power door locks to led display pagers, if you car is getting broken into. I think Quinn offers a 5 year warrenty or something. Either way, I HIGHLY recommend them. There is one here in Calgary, with a few other locations in Western Canada.

Autopage makes an entry level security system that is very good (CPX2600) - has all the features your'e looking for - should be able to pick one up for $299 installed with all those features. Black Widow has one too - but the key with any security system is the quality of the install - both these brands will give you a Lifetime Warranty on the remote controls, alarm brain and installation (shop usually guarantees that) if its installed by an authorized dealer .
i.e. A trained installer - not mechanic who put it in for a case of Budweiser. So get it doen by a shop - give Dave Oakley a call - he's in Kelowna !!
ph: (250) 860-1975
Not sure if he handles those brands, but he'll be able to set you up !!
Good luck !!

Any of the DEI products are great as well, they offer lifetime warranty (like ALOT of others) but they also have Nationwide Assistance in all of North America, so if your away somewhere and your alarm screws up call the number on the back of the remote and they will send you to the nearest dealer and that dealer must repair the alarm (to make it functional, that is all) so you can get back home and have your retailer fix it up 100%
Over the years I have done a few and the owners are very grateful...........

Every Quinn security system I've removed has been a basic black widow alarm with their sticker on it.
Go with Clifford G5, best alarms on the planet.
2nd on my list of alarms I think work well and reliably, the Black Widow BWX5
It's the only black widow alarm I'd ever use myself.

All the "brand names" mentioned are "good" alarm systems - again, dude it's all in the install !!
There are a lot of good alarm systems out there - but in my 14-years of selling them, if there is a problem that someone is having with their alarm system, its usually because of an install related problem.
