when do you need a second battery???

i'm going to be installing a kicker zx1500.1, i have a yellow top under the hood and have done the "big 3", i will be running 0 awg wiring and was wondering should i be o.k off a stock 90 amp altenator or will i need a second battery? thanks for any help in advanced.

there is another thread similar too this already started, I know from Experience the yellow top doesn't make a HUGE difference, I had one installed, took it out and ran my stock battery with my "big3" done and I have no issues, and im running a T31000D and 4 10" subs :D..I Hardly ever listen to it quietly BTW...

And as for the Altenator, I would just get it Rewound, they usually increase significantly and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg ;)

so i guess the best thing to do is just install it and go from there. So many of you have had 1500+ rms on subs and was o.k with a stock alt, yellow top and big 3?

I would certainly try it before I spent any more money.....:smokin:
