where to mount speakers?

I'm installing a set of boston 6.43's in my s10.I have room for a 4x6 in my dash.I was thinking about putting the 4in. and the tweeter in that hole. Can someone tell me how to mount them in that hole?I was thinking of cutting a piece of plastic 4x6 and mount the speakers to that. Also,do you have a better idea of where to mount the tweeters?

Be mindful of the heater ductwork when positioning the mid on the adaptor plate..

thanks for the replys.I'm new to this and know very little.I have a question about wire and what size I should use?The wire should be no more than 15 feet and it will run a old school punch 400x4.I was thinking 4g but will go with 8 if it will be enough?
