lol Yeah, but I seem to be confused after I get some comments like that. It makes it so much harder to choose. :sly: Ya know?

Will the Clarion HONESTLY be better for SPL?
I do feel pretty comfortable with Lightning Audio equipment. I listened to the one guy's 2 12" VC2's in his CRX with 1000RMS to each sub in a fiberglass inclosure. They sounded really loud and moved alot of air. He said that one of the 15's can be comparable to them under the right conditions.

--->Troy.

BTW, I appreciate your input and comments man.

Not enough people used the Lightning Audio Strike subs, especially the VC2 series. The original aluminum cone versions were amazing at output levels and depth. A total sleeper sub that made people take notice when they heard or saw them. A great pair of subs.

So you would go for that over the Clarion?

You heard them, and you liked them. Thats all you really need to know right ?

Well yes, BUT. I haven't really, well wait, I haven't sat in the actual car with the Clarion 15". But I heard it from the outside at the audio comp. So that doesn't really count. I think he hit 137 or something. The mic was a little quieter, and the box had to be put in the 'Stang with the Sub facing up (big box).

So I dunno...

with my PXW 15 I noticed that facing up in a sealed box with 450rms was not that loud.
I changed my amp, got 800wrms made a new box, faced it forword and sealed off the back of the trunk and its all the bass I can take.
I was saying that if you heard the lightning audio and liked it, then go for it. Theres so many options out there and everyones gonna have their own personal opinion

Yeah I meant that I heard the lightning audio, but in my last post I was talking about the Clarion.

I dunno, it's so hard to decide. I feel like I am going to regret something for some reason. Even though I'm sure I won't.
