Who are you? LOL |
You guys install your own Dynamat? I mean, it's "That Easy" or its worth paying someone for the install ...
I have a feeling though, around here with so many DIY'ers, I'm going to hear its worth putting it in yourself (lol). I'm just wondering if it's easy enough to do. |
I just need the rattling gone, please for gods sake.

Here is a link to a Youtube vid. They only used the "original" version which is a little more plyable than the Xtreme but Xtreme is the way to go. As my post on the vid says .... don't be afraid to use your thumbs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyuhgHOdnCU&feature=channel_page |

Just put it in the right places. Dynamat Xtreme is all I've ever used, oh, and a little foam and silicone. :smilie_da |
Where do I put the silicone and foam?
I was thinking of buying a bottle of foam and put it in the trunk lid. |

In the ribs. Most times that's whats actually rattling. The sheet metal against the ribs.

I would check out the B-Quiet stuff - great value (a lot less expensive than Dynamat and works just as well as far as I am concerned).
B-Quiet sound deadening material |
ebay is your friend for sound deadening
