Wife Rant

Ok, I have to post something...
Is it too much to ask my husband who is such a car stereo nut to have music in our car??? If he is such a car stereo guy, why dont we have one working in our car?! Sheesh.
In the past 3 years we have been without any music in the car four times (for a period of 3 to 4 weeks each time!!) Man! Is it too much to ask to have some tunes in the car? I mean, when the stereo is in, it sounds AMAZING! But when the stereo is out, wow it is a lonely drive.
Love you honey!

Its so he can give you his full attention when he is listening to you and you guys are conversating about thing that you ladies like talk about. We are very good listeners and would like to be more intune to your needs vs. the tunes. (That sounded good right guys)

My husband and I are major music enthusiasts, so it is quite ironic that we have no music in our car! We've been watching a lot more movies on the portable DVD player, but those tiny little speakers are pathetic for someone who has become accustomed to an SQ car
I have full confidence that he will someday get an amp to run the speakers so we can finally use the radio...but until then, the irony continues. *sigh*
(By the way, my husband IS a good listener--no doubts about that!)

i think that you have to do what my wife does(spl builders wife)...... and just go ahead and do it yourself. she installed the head unit, she installed the speakers. she midified the doors to make them fit. she made the sub woofer box....but i cut the wood.
the sense of accomplishment made me see how much of an asset her determination is.most importantly she will tell you how easy it was.
