Will you suggest Focal Speaker?

Sup All,

I'm new to this forum, and a noob in car audio, please help me out.
I'm driving the Acura TSX, and would like to upgarde the speaker as follow:"

6.5" Component Speaker Front Door --> Focal 165 V1
6.5" Speakers for Rear Door --> Focal 165 CA1
6"X9" Speaker Rear Deck --> Focal 690 CV1
Front Tweeter --> No Idea...

What do you think for the above speaker? If I'm not running an aftermarket amp or sub, will the upgrade speaker a waste?? Please provide some suggestion on the tweeter, and what amp will you run with it???

I don't want to put tooo much budget on the stereo system, what I'm looking for is decent sound. Where did you guys buy your speaker anyways? Sonic Electronix and Ebay has the cheapest price but any local store you know? Any commend are welcome.

I think if you buy a nice set of front components, an amp, and image it right you will be happier then buying a plethora of speakers.

If you got the money for all that and no amp then I would work on just your front stage and get a set of 165 v2's with a decent amp about 50W rms to power them and get the moisture barrier replaced with some good sound deadning.
Install the tweeters from this set flush low in the A pillar and you'll have a decent image and good midbass responce.
Then work on the rear fill or a subwoofer later when your budget is a little better

Thanks for the input guys...

I'm not planning to put a sub in my car in the near future, thus my 6X9 will use for the bass purpose.

Which brand of amp will you guys recommend??? I guess the mono type amp are strictly for Sub, so I should focus on Multi-channel amp right??

From my understanding, I need at least a 4 channel amp? and each channel will be occupat by 1 pair of speaker/ or tweeter??

My choice of amp now (with budget in mind)...
1. JL Audio e4300
2. Pioneer Premier PRS-D4100F
3. Volfenhag ZX-8300 (Not sure what brand but has the best spec + lower than avg price)
4. Rockford Fosgate T400-4
5. Alpine MRP-F450
6. Infinity Reference 7541a

3) unproven and I wouldnt want to be the one to do so (they are also ugly but thats PO)
4) I think the all new rockford is crap
5) I find the alpine to be a little on the guttless side for subs but your not usin it for that so itll be good
the rest I would think also fine but these are all just my personal opinions

I will talk w/ Steve for that amp, thanks for the headup.

Keep the suggestions coming guys, the audio combination is far more complicate than I have thought of.
