Wire question....Which colour is positive/negative?

Wire question....Which colour is positive/negative?
I have some 14 gauge speaker wire and one strand is just plain copper colour while the other strand is copper with a red stripe. Which one is positive and which is negative?

whichever one you'd like, doesn't matter, I normally use the one with the stripe as negative....
