Is This Wired Right (Parallel)
Well I wired up my subs tonight ( 2 Alpine Type R DVC 2 Ohm) from a parallel wiring diagram. However the diagram shows the connections between the subs with no box. I'm almost sure what I have done is a correct parallel wiring but I just want to make sure. I made a quick diagram of my work.

As you can see I bridged according to the diagram and ran the + and - from the drivers to the connectors on the box. From the outside of the box is where I started the parallel wiring. Will it still work as the acutal parallel wiring is going to the connectors on the box and not the drivers themselve? I was just a little thrown off as all the diagrams it shows the wires going to the drivers and not like a box or anything.

As long as you wired each of the subs in series first (by taking the positive of one coil and connecting it to the negative on the other coil), then you've got it right. Basically you'll need to series the coils on each sub, then connect the subs to eachother in parallel to the amp, resulting in a 2-ohm load (or you could also connect the coils in parallel, and wire the subs together in series). It looks like you've got it right from the diagram.
