Is it possible to wire in a series parallel combination to achieve 4 ohms? or can i only run solely series or solely parallel. Looking for an amp and wondering if i'll need to get one stable down to 1ohm or not.

Yup, you have to stick with one, or their will be an uneven distribution of paower between the drivers.
